Meet the Owner

There’s something about spending time on the water that changes a person. It’s the  SEAF unknown and the adventure of what is to come. Listening to the wave’s crash and the animals communicating with one another, the ebb and flow of it all is inspiring.

Since the owner, Rodney Wright, was a young boy he spent time on many watersheds, from the Chesapeake Bay to the Atlantic Ocean, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean and beyond.  The biggest takeaway from his experience is that life on the water is precious and it is our responsibility to respect what goes in and out of the changing tides. Understanding that without the wildlife of the waters to maintain balance, the oceans would not be a place to call home as it would be unlivable.

Over the years with this key concept in mind, Rodney knew he wanted to be a part of a positive and sustainable change with our watershed and to practice positive fishing habits to teach those who have not had the water experiences that he has had and to inspire those who have lost their way on the ocean.
